Social communication formats have changed drastically overtime. When I was in high school, I remember AOL and Yahoo being the most popular forms of communication. Now that technology has evolved at a more rapid pace, new social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram have dominated social forms of communication. I have noticed that the social media platforms where you can easily share photographs and videos at a fast rate in the shortest amount of time are the most popular. As technology evolves so does how we communicate. Twitter is the most popular form for news sharing and it is not losing its luster. The two most useful formats these days are twitter and Instagram due to the fast sharing and viewing of photos and videos. A new media that helps maintain the integrity of journalist is Twitter. It allows for journalist to be heard and reach out to different types of audience. I do believe that maintaining integrity for a journalist is up to the journalist themselves no matter which platform they are using.
